Air Spain Bristol 175 Britannia EC-BFJ (ex G-AOVR) overwing emergency exit cut
We are very excited to get our hands on this overwing emergency exit door. EC-BFJ started its like with BOAC and then British Eagle as G-AOVR.
It flew on the 4th August 1958
Leased by British Eagle International Airlines Ltd from BOAC on the 22nd February 1965 and purchased on the 17th October 1966
It was sold on the 17th October 1966 to Air Spain as EC-WFJ and then re-registered EC-BFJ.
It was finally sold for spares and scrapped in 1975.
The following link shows it at Biggin Hill

You can see it missing the overwing exit as the team at Duxford were able to retrieve spare parts for the Monarch Bristol Britannia there, which included this overwing exit but was never used by them. We purchased it from Duxford.
These cuts are approx 8cm long and cut from the edge of the window. Photos are examples only, all will include blue and white as shown.
