RAF BAe 125 ZD704 aircraft cowl Skin Structure Cut
RAF Royal Air Force British Aerospace BAe 125 CC3 / HS 125 ZD704 aircraft engine cowling skin with structural backing making a nice display piece of aviation history!
This aircraft was written off after it sustained substantial damage in a hail storm at Kandahar Airport (KDH), Afghanistan.
On October 17th 2013, members of the USAF's 451st Expeditionary Aircraft Maintenance Squadron helped to move the damaged plane for transport back to England. It was cut up and scrapped which is where we got the fuselage skin from.
Each cut is approximately 6cm tall and 4.5cm wide. These are hand cut straight from the aircraft so the sizes aren't exact.
