Delivered to the USAAF 10th Sep 1945. Assigned to the 310th Bomb group, Assigned to 344th Bomb Squadron , 98th Bomb Group, Spokane AFB, Washington. TDY to RAF Sculthorpe, Norfolk in July 1949
Written off July 21st 1949 en route the pilot encountered an unexpected situation. All 12 crew bailed out.
